Does GottaBounce make a real call?
No. Every call screen is drawn by the app. It never dials a number, makes a cellular or internet call, changes caller ID, or contacts anyone.
How do I schedule a call?
Select a caller, tap the timer beside Call Now, choose a delay or time, and confirm. Keep GottaBounce open on its Waiting screen for precise timing. Switching apps or locking the phone cancels the scheduled call. This release does not request or send notifications.
How does private audio work?
Build 1.0 (3) uses output-only playback: the top earpiece by default, or loudspeaker when you select Speaker. No microphone input is captured. If a private output is unavailable, Speaker-off playback stays silent. Editor previews labelled Preview Aloud play through the speaker. The Simulator cannot verify a physical iPhone’s earpiece.
Older build 1.0 (2) had an unwanted speaker fallback. Do not use that build to test private playback; update to build 3 or later first.
Is the microphone recording during a simulated call?
No. Build 1.0 (3) has no microphone recorder or microphone permission request. Import an existing audio file to use as a clip or script line. Existing saved clips remain playable.
Are there limits or paid features?
No. All features and unlimited simulated calls are free in this release. There is no Pro paywall, purchase, or subscription.
Where are my callers and audio stored?
In the app’s local storage. GottaBounce has no developer-operated account or cloud-sync service. Your iPhone backup settings may include app data in a device backup. See the privacy policy for deletion and backup details.
