Is someone actually calling me?
No. GottaBounce draws a simulated call screen inside the app. It never dials a number, changes caller ID, or contacts another person. Think entertainment and rehearsal—not real telephony.
Will everyone hear my audio clip?
Answered-call audio is designed for the top earpiece by default. Speaker plays aloud only when you select it. If a private output is unavailable, Speaker-off playback stays silent. Ringtones and editor previews can play aloud. Read the audio guide.
Can I lock my phone and wait for the call?
No. Keep GottaBounce open on the Waiting screen. Locking your phone or switching apps cancels the timer. This release does not ring from the background or send notifications.
Does it need my microphone or contacts?
No microphone recording or device permission requests. If you want a photo, contact, or audio file, a system picker shares just the item you select. You can use the built-in callers without importing anything.
Is this a personal safety app?
No. GottaBounce is for entertainment and rehearsal, not emergencies or personal protection. Keep the joke kind: never use it to frighten, harass, defraud, impersonate, or fabricate evidence.
Where can I install it?
We're preparing the public iPhone release. There isn't a public App Store download or open TestFlight invitation linked here yet. This page will link directly to the verified install page when it's available. No signup required.
